Our staff undergoes regular safety training to address potential hazards, from heavy equipment operation to working in challenging environmental conditions. We utilize advanced monitoring systems and communication tools to ensure that every project site operates with maximum safety and efficiency.
Safety protocols are built into every stage of our projects, including:
- Rigorous pre-construction risk assessments.
- Ongoing safety audits and inspections.

- Comprehensive incident reporting and analysis for continuous improvement.
Environmental Safety: Protecting BC’s Natural Resources
Operating in British Columbia and Alberta means working amidst some of the most beautiful and ecologically sensitive environments in the world. At OMH, we are deeply committed to protecting the land, water, and wildlife that make our country unique. Environmental safety is a guiding principle in our operations, and we take every measure to minimize our ecological footprint.
Erosion and Sediment Control:
Our team implements effective erosion and sediment control measures to prevent soil degradation and protect water quality during construction.
Spill Prevention and Response:
We adhere to stringent spill prevention protocols, ensuring that all materials and equipment are handled with care. In the unlikely event of a spill, our team is fully equipped and trained to respond swiftly and mitigate environmental impacts.
Wildlife Protection:
We work closely with environmental consultants to ensure that our projects do not disrupt local ecosystems or wildlife habitats. This includes scheduling construction activities to avoid sensitive periods and installing protective barriers as needed.
Site Reclamation:
Once a project is completed, we prioritize reclamation efforts to restore the site to its natural state. This includes replanting native vegetation, stabilizing soils, and addressing any residual impacts from construction activities.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement in Safety
Safety is not a one-time goal; it’s an ongoing commitment. At OMH, we continuously evaluate and improve our safety processes to align with advancements in technology, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
We invest in cutting-edge tools and equipment to enhance safety and efficiency, such as:
- Advanced inspection technologies for pipeline integrity assessments.
- Real-time monitoring systems to detect potential hazards.
- Environmentally friendly construction practices and materials.
