The 24” Grizzly Mainline has gone through multiple revetments due to erosion from annual seasonal water runoff and low depth of cover. 

The project scope of work included:

• Removing 380m of 24 NPS pipe from under the Pine River using a hydro hammer.  
• Access over the Pine River required a temporary engineered 3 pier bridge be installed & improvements made to the existing access.
• Excavated tie-in locations required a large amount of water pumping and shoring.
• A specialized pneumatic and hydro hammer system was used to hammer pipe sections out of the river.
