Project Schedule: July – November 2023 

The general scope of the 3rd phase of work was to restore flood damaged TMPL lands, protective structures, and support infrastructure. 

The scope included:

  • KP969 – Restoration of in-channel pipeline protection and armouring; inspection of the pipe for damage; removal of current bridge + crossing abutments; relocation of the crossing + abutments, including GRS wall structure. 
  • KP942 – Install 65m of riprap revetment where pipe center-line has minimal offset from the riverbank. 
  • KP967 – Restoration of road prism as well as armouring the riverbank, road embankment & road crest. 
  • KP 965 – Removal of 70’ Bailey Bridge and install 80’ steel portable bridge, including removal of abutment lock blocks and installation of riprap. 
  • KP973 – Installation of new culvert, armouring of fill slopes and re-establishment of washed-out sections of the road. 
  • KP992 – Install riprap revetment for 210m where pipe center-line is 2m offset.
